I know that you can look up the 1881 census yourself free of charge, but I wondered if you had seen this one (Transcribed as Pice). He seems to have another child, but George has gone.

Thanks again DS.  An unexpected find.  I have looked for him on the 1881 census but never thought to try Pice!!  Got him now.

Any joy with 1891?

Cheers
Brian

I cannot see William for certain after 1861 and I cannot see George for certain after 1871. Maybe someone else will be able to spot them.

Possible Birth Registration

1873 Ludlow AMJ quarter 6a 569

Fanny LUCAS

There is no birth registration for a Fanny Price within 2 years either way.

1891 census

Ludlow RG12/2081 Folio 53 Page 3

A Fanny Lucas aged 18 and single from Ludlow, is a Servant in the household of an Eliza Morse at 30 Old Street, Ludlow.

DS

ps 1891 information for Timothy already done in earlier post.

1901 (my final offering, I think...)

Ludlow RG13/2503 Folio 64 Page 9

A Fanny Price aged 28 and single from Ludlow, is a General Domestic Servant for a Mary S Partridge living at (what looks like) Temeside, Ludford.

I cannot see a suitable Fanny Lucas in 1901, so I would think that this is the same person referred to above who was (obviously) Timothy’s daughter born to his Housekeeper.

Sorry about the things that I have not been able to find.

Best wishes

DS ;)
