Wedding Menu Servian / Craingold

Hello
Whilst at Mums at the weekend she produced a box of menus that belonged to my Grandfather. He was a chef all his working life right up to the year before his death when he was 75.

Apart from all the real 'nuggets' that relate to my Grandfather (he wrote poems on the back of a lot of them) I found this wedding menu

For .... Gertude Servian and Maurice Myer Craingold.

The wedding fare included Hors D'Oeuvres a la Russe, Vermicelli, Pigeons aux Champignons, Dinde Langue de Boeuf, Asperges sauce au Beurre, Pouding Anglais etc .... quite a posh wedding it would seem

What a lovely thing to have-and very generous of you to "offer" it.

No ancestor of mine unfortunately!

Just had a little look around for further information which may assist anyone in claiming it.

There are these deaths

The Servian's in Liverpool seem to descend from Russian/Polish and were Glaziers and Picture frame makers.

There is also on GenesReunited a Michael who is researching

In 1928 there was a Maurice CRAINGOLD, chemist, at Cheetham Hill Road, Manchester.

I have just seen the message posted in May 2007 about the wedding menu of my late aunt Gertrude Servian and Myer Craingold. I would like to obtain this for their two daughters, my cousins. They stlll live in Manchester and are now grandmothers. Could Cal241 get in touch about this, or whoever has the menu now. I have been researching the Servian family for over ten years and this would make a fitting present for Gertrude's family.
