Hi Dixie

Back in 2006 you mentioned seeing a house in Hampton Wick with 'Gravel Pit Hill' above the door. I've just discovered that my great-grandfather Richard Shortland lived at 1, Gravel Pit Hill, according to the 1911 census. He owned a draper's shop in Surbiton at the time.

Did you ever find out any more?
