Charney Bassett parish -SORTED THANK YOU

Hello if someone has access to these disks, please could they see if there is a William Jeffries born 1847 in Kingston Bagpuize, but possibly christened or born in Charney Bassett. In addition his brother Thomas Steven Jeffries born 1846.

    From Kingston Bagpuize PRs

    Baptism

Jun 13 1846 William Belcher Jeffries, son of Jonathon and Elizabeth, lab

 This was the only William i found around that date and i could find no baptism for a Thomas.

 I did find this in the burials but it may not be your Thomas.

  Jun 13 1850 Thomas Jeffries from Abingdon Union Workhouse age 4 ???

 Now i have Abingdon Workhouse PRs but baptisms dont start till1884

 I also had a look in Abingdon PRs for St Helens but again no luck.

Thank you Sue, I believe that William is the son of my rellie's brother and not his own son. My William was showing with his sister Elizabeth on a census, but possibly he wasn't her brother, and maybe her uncle instead (as the baptism you have located matches the same details). As for Thomas someone else advised me that he existed as another family member, but I had no proof of that, so maybe that again is an error.

Thank you for your help, you may have helped me solve a mystery.
