MARY CURTIS LT BEALINGS
BY BANNS 9 AUG 1779

As the groom is from Cretingham I wondered if you could look for a baptism for Joseph in Cretingham or any reference to the name COOT(E)(S), COAT(E)(S)

This is all I can see for COOTES in the Cretingham baptisms:-

1798 May 27 Isaac s/o John & Mary COOTES late HARVEY

There are plenty of the other alternatives, later, but the only (pretty unlikely) baptism I can see for a Joseph is this one in Clopton:-

1766 Jun 28 Joseph s/o William & Elizabeth COATS

Looks like thats where my tree ends then ( or I should really say starts) as no further clues to their parents.
