Why can't i find him??

I'm having problems tracking down a man called Thomas King Ridley. This is a new root i'm taking in my research so as of yet i don't know a lot about him other than his name, he married a woman called Betsey Hullah and as far as i know he came from the Sunderland area. I know this isn't much to go on but i was hoping if i could get a little more info about him i might be able to go back a bit further with this side of the family. Hopefully some one will be able to help, i'll keep my fingers crossed. thanks to everyone in advance.

May I suggest you modify your request and give and indication of the era you are referring to, without some idea of a date it is very hard for anyone to help you.

There was a marriage for a Thomas RIDLEY and Betsey HULLAH in Sunderland 1906.  This would make the Thomas King RIDLEY born in 1881 Sunderland the man that you are after.

There is a Thomas RIDLEY on the 1891 Census as follows :-

Hi again

It looks like the same Thomas in 1901 is in service to John BATY, of Benwell East Farm,  Benwell, Northumberland.  He is aged 19, birthplace is Sunderland, Durham, and he is a Dairy Carman.
