Daisy Treagus born in Steyning Sussex in 1881 had a brother Alfred who is my grandfather. Can anyone shed light on  whether descendants of this line of the Treagus family still exists in or around Steyning Sussex or further afield today. I am wanting to establish links with the family I never knew.
thanks and thanks to Phil47 who started this post

Hi Roger and welcome to Rootschat!

I've been in contact with someone who was researching the Treagus name in Sussex a couple of years ago, so have passed a link to this thread to them.  I don't know if its the same branch of the family but they may be able to help.

Good luck with your research, Heather  :)

Hi

The Daisy Treagus on my tree who has a brother Alfred Ernest Treagus is Daisy Florence Emily Treagus b. 1Q1883 Steyning.  Alfred Ernest Treagus according to my notes was born on 9 July 1887 & christened on 16 Oct 1887 in Steyning.  I think that he may have died in Chichester in 1976.  I would be very happy to know if this fits in with your Grandfather Alfred and if so who he married.

The other Daisy Treagus first mentioned by Phil was a daughter of Edwin and Ruth Austin Treagus.
