Dear Nipy
That is an extremely generous offer. I have quite a few Qualter Family records sweeping down from Tuam, through Lackagh into Claregalway so I would  be happy to swop information.
My branch arrived in Claregalway via Liscananaun in Lackagh, pre 1855 when the GV for the area was completed.

Dear Nipy
I  would be very grateful if you  would check for a James and Sabina Hughes whose children are
James and Sabina b 1848 and 1843 respectively. One US record states that the parents, James
& Sabina died of typhoid fever in Ireland. I have not been able to confirm that. Thanks again
Libby

Brilliant!
BTW found I DID have the marriage of Denis Forde/Honor Qualter in my file. Denis is from Lisheenavalla and Honor from Baile na Creige in Lissarulla. They were married in Oranmore 19/11/1877. However the dod info you gave me was very useful because looking at the ages of their children on the 1911 Census there is a possibility that she died in childbirth. Sad.

FAO Libby; Found a Sabina Qualter baptised 24/09/1841 in Annaghdown, but parents were William Qualters and Honor Leonard. Witnesses John Leonard and Bridget Mc Peim.
Also a marriage of a Sabina 14/02/1870 in Oranmore . The latter was the daughter of Thomas Qualter of Baile na Creige and married Patrick King from Bryanhill.
Just including them in case any of the names crop up anywhere else.
