Watermen and lighter-men Apprenticeships Bindings Look up Please?

Sorry I can't really be of any further help. The indexes do not say why this was not completed. I have checked some original bindings I have for my family and it is unusual to mention why the apprenticeship was not completed. I have checked the reassignments and nothing is listed for Henry Langham.

A normal apprenticeship lasted 7 years and therefore whatever caused Henry to stop his apprenticeship must have happened before 1860, are there any clues in the 1861 census?

Sadly the 1861 census sheets for that part of Woolwich are lost/destroyed; just thought it might give me so more info about JH Pain.

I cannot find a Jethro Dobson in the apprentice bindings or in the "Contracts for over aged boys 1868-1926"

I suspect that Eton would be inside of the area covered by the Company Of Watermen and Lightermen as I believe that they covered from Windsor to Gravesend.

Thankyou for replying.  I am looking for William Farson born around 1800 not sure which side of the river he was born but I  think he and his family were from Southwark.  He married my GGgrandmother Sarah Ward in 1818 at St Leonards Shoreditch.  Her father was John Ward born around 1770/80 who came from East London.
Not sure if this is much help but will keep my fingers crossed.

Had a look but as you might know Ward is a poplar name so I just look for a John around the time he could be bounded.

John Ward bound 30/06/1785 in Wandsworth to William Peart completed 27/09/1792

Here are the Farson, James is the first Farson I could find.

James Farson bound 29/01/1747 in St.Saviours to Edmund Smith completed16/01/1756
Stockson Farson bound 10/04/1777 in St.Savours to James Farsons completed 15/04/1784
Richard Farson bound 19/06/1806 in Bankside to Stockdon Farson completed 28/10/1813
Stephen Farson bound 13/11/1800 in St.Saviours to Stockdon Farson completed 03/12/1807
William Farson bound 11/08/1808 in Bankside  to Stephen Farson completed 26/10/1815
