  we have Bickerstaff in our tree Thomas was born about 1806 in Ayr, Scotland. He married a Ann Bailey she was also b about 1806in birmingham they had 7 of a family that we know of
 Sarah b 1827 (about)
Rebecca b 1830(about)
Thomas b 1832 (about)
William b 1834 (about)
Isaac b 1836 (about) Husbands line
Ann Maria b 1840 (about)
David b 1846 (about)

has anybody got any of these names in there tree, all the children were born in the Birmingham area
Swift Motherwell, Struthers Motherwell, Hathaway South wales, Oram South Wales, Hathaway Birmingham area

Thomas Bickerstaff's (b.1832) grand daughter Gladys Miriam Bickerstaff married by mother's cousin.

She was the daughter of Edward Thomas Bickerstaff (b.1869) and Rosaline Tye.  Edward's brother James Henry Bickerstaff (b. 1865) married Rosaline's sister Louisa Tye.

I don't have a lot of information on the Bickerstaff family as the connection is by marriage only but I thought it may be of interest.
