I am looking for a needle in a haystack. A magnet would be helpful!
Can anyone help me with a marriage between Richard GRAY to someone named Betty? It could have been around 1790, give or take a few years, and it may well have been in or near Swindon.
My guess is that Richard Gray died in 1807 in Swindon, and that his widow, Betty, married again in 1823. But until I find her maiden name, this is just speculation. There is a Richard GRAY aged 41 who died in 1807, which would make him born in about 1766.
Betty had sisters named Susannah and Sarah, if that helps with pinpointing the right family.
Many thanks for any help with this inquiry.
Kind regards
Philip Candy
