Henry Image of lincolnshire

Hi everyone

I am trying to find out more on the Image family of lincolnshire.

Henry image born 1801 sutton bridge or sutton st mary lincs.
I cant seem to find out anything until a cousin found a document about WILLIAM EDMUND IMAGE high sheriff born 1807 the younger son of Rev Thomas image rector and patron of whepstead suffolk.
William image was the grandson of Rev John Image MA of peterborough,cambs.

What i have found was that henry's parents may have been a charles image and sarah haim cambridgeshire.
Charles was born 1730 cambridgeshire so could charles and john image be related to one another.
As the image surname is not common maybe they could be but i cannot prove this at the moment what do you think could they be from the same family one became reverends and the other non church people.

Yes, Henry's parents were Charles and Sarah, and the family tree can be traced back to a John Image of Peterborough who had children christened there in the early 1700s. 

I firmly believe that all living members of the Image family are descended from that John.  He had two sons who produced children - Charles and Elias.  Henry was descended from Elias, and William Thomas, Desiree, etc are from Charles's side. 

My ex-husband's family are descended from Elias.

As you say, this is a very rare surname, so I'd love to know where you fit into the family tree (assuming you do!)  Do contact me if you want more information.

So john image had two son's charles and elias Image in the 1700's

Yos say that our line is from elias Image

That is my family tree by memory i have a lot more on my image side.

One of my daughter's friend's mother is french and was born there.
Her grandmother has still the french accent and the surname of
image sounds like imarge with an r sound.
