Hi All
Just had marriage cert back for Peter Jones and Sydney Jones married 30th March 1841 in the Parish church Clynnog

Peter was living in Pant or Pont and Sydney in Gyrn Goch??where ever that maybe
Peter father was Owen Jones a stonemason- you were right!!

Sydney Father was Griffith Jones a labourer
witnesses were Owen jones and David roberts -could Roberts be mother maiden name?

So again any one who would like to go to the next generation and find their Mother or siblings feel free to help me.. much appreciated.

Pam :)

Hi,
I saw an earlier message ref. Tom Hughes (Machno terrace). His brother Hugh was my grandfather and I can confirm your links to Joseph Hughes. Macno terrace was built by THE hUGHES FAMILY and the statue of the virgin Mary in the catholic church in Conwy was made by the elder Hugh Hughes.

Regards,

gareth Hughes

Hi Gareth
It is nice to find another link to the family
I did not know that Machno Terrace or the statue of the Virgin Mary was built by the Hughes family that is so good to know. It is a shame that the Terrace has now gone my taid would have been upset by that.
If you have anymore family or local knowledge I would love to hear from you.
Thanks
Pam
