Help with Uncle's Army Photo please
« on: Saturday 05 May 07 14:04 BST (UK) »
This photo was taken just after my Uncle (far right, with accordian) was evacuated from Dunkirk.  He was in the Army, but as he could play the accordian (without music) he was given one by the Army and asked to use it to entertain the troops he was fighting with

By the way "The use of Thursday" is to make the week longer!

I think Glen thinks that as you're a restorer, then you can do it yourself - or something like that.

Glen, we often put up photos for each other to restore.

Mudge - I'm very fond of Wednesdays as well, it breaks up the week a bit   :D :D :D

PS I come from Devon, where they say it rains 8 days out of 7! That adds another 1/7th to life ::) ::)

I came from Devon too - 6 years ago. Lived there for 22 years.  It rains more here though. I'd say 20days a week.

I don't think I'll do a restore on this photo though - don't like groups of men - a bit boring. I like nice Victorian/Edwardian women's finery  :)

Thanks Gadget -- I get it now....

As I was about to type...

My point was, that Mudge restores for other - was confused why he was asking for help.  I thought he might want a date or something -- come on, do I act that stupid???
