Windle family in Sunderland/Boldon/South Shields

Hi
Trying to find the W(h)indle family.
In 1841 census I have Richard Whindle age 10 living in Sunderland (New Street) with possibly his sister Ann age 4 and George & Elizabeth Webster.  George is a cord wainer.  I am interested in RIchard W(h)indle. 
in 1851 he is living with his wife Sarah and his inlaws Robert & Elizabeth Alder.  He is working as a bootmaker, living in Hendon Road Bishop Wearmouth.
1861 still in B. Wearmouth, shoemaker living with wife Sarah and 3 children
1871 he has 4 children and 1881 3 of his children are still at home.
I was wondering whether anyone knew why he was living with the Websters in 1841 and if they have any knowledge of his parents.
Any help greatly appreciated  :)
Gibbon, Emmerson and names of Flamborough, Pinder,Appleby in Yorkshire, Browns, Edwards, Pritchard and Rogers in Shropshire and Montgomery. Waters, Bulmer in County Durham, Birks & Griffiths in Staffordshire, Simpson, Nixon, Hutchinson around Helmsley, Vayro and Todd in Wensleydale.

The census was meant to taken of each individual in the household on census night only. This means that someone who was just there for one night would be included in that household, so he would not necessarily be 'living' with the Websters. You sometimes get people enumerated twice, at their usual home and at a house they happened to be visiting.

An Elizabeth Windle married a George Webster in Monkwearmouth on 18th March 1822. So Ann Whindle and Richard Whindle could be the nephew and neice of Elizabeth.

I have found a possible family in 1851 East Boldon so just need to try and find a connection.  Do you know where the BMD records are held for this area  Think I need a visit to the record office  :D

Do you mean Parish Records or the Civil Registration Records.
