I see John and Frances Reynolds had at least two more children. Elizabeth 1781 and Margaret 1785.

If you are looking for the baptisms of generations 1, I can have a look for you. There is a baptism for Jospeh Morris Hillesden 6/3/1803 in the IGI.

It is not clear exactly what you require.

The only baptisms I could find were for Elizabeth Bryan in Preston Bissett 10/03/1811 to James and Mary.

And Jospeh Morris 6/3/1803 Hillesden to Benjamin and Ann.

There is a gap between 1754 and 1764 in Padbury but I checked and found nothing for John Reynoldseither side.

I could not find a marriage of John Reynolds and Frances in Padbury. There was one John Reynolds and Elizabeth Reynolds BOTP Oct 1783 in Padbury.

The Bucks FHS PC was broken today, so I will see if I can come up with anything on Tuesday if it is working.

Hiya Jo

I came across the Benjamin Morris and Ann Smith link using one tree world and they included all of the family members  for the Morris family, so am presuming those are from my ancestry. Also appears that Benjamin and Ann moved to Padbury from St Martins Birmingham Warwickshire from what I can gather from the IGI as there is mention of a marriage that fits the dates and appear to be the only couple with those names married around that time.

have also found a marriage which you mentioned between John Reynolds and Elizabeth George as mentioned in my initial posts. I am keen on the Padbury connection as it appears that my ancestors were present there for some time and trying to go back further than I have.

As with Elizabeth Bryant as I have her down as and mentioned below I didn't have a parentage for so thanks for that. But have her born in 1807 and not 1811. Although I might have taken that from the census records. There is cited in the census 1861 that she was born in Preston Bissett So I presume the one you have found is the one I'm looking for.

Got that from the IGI on familysearch.org. Seems that Elizabeths name was Bryan. but somehow got corrupted to Bryant. The same goes for James as it appears to read Bryan on his Birth but Bryant on his marriage details.

No marriage for John Reynolds to a Frances in Padbury or surrounding districts. Though he does appear to be a witness on numerous ocassions.

Thanks for your post I have to admit I have been to busy to do my research into my family tree so haven't looked at it recently so can't be much more help than the lineage given.

Just joined Rootschat and saw your message from 2007 re George Reynolds and Sarah Morris.

They had other children not mentioned in your list ie. Elizabeth b1849 d1868 in Padbury, Joseph (my great grandfather) b8.2.1855 d24.1.1908 in West Bromwich, William b1856, Mary Ann Morris b1858 d1870 in Padbury, John (twin to Sarah) baptised 15.11.1868 d1870.

I agree that George's parents were John Reynolds and Elizabeth George, but I think that John's parents were John Reynolds (b1761 d1843) and Elizabeth Reynolds (dob and dod not known) who were married in Padbury on 14 October 1783.

If this information is correct, I believe I have an earlier generation for John Reynolds senior, Elizabeth Reynolds and Elizabeth George.

Any confirmation that you could give would be appreciated.
