Hi asll

Hope you all enjoying pix. We had a fun day out which started out of me and another roomie arranging to meet in Sheffield. Acorns & oaks! lol. We didn't post on board cos was mini meet for roomies.

Next time we will cos we had such a good day we'd like more folks to come and join us!

Great piccis but I am sad that I did not know the event was taking place. I am only 35 miles from Manchester and could have got there. Why was it not publicised more or was it a case of you only wanted certain people there?

Hi Pennine

Was no question of exclusion. This started off as a meet between a couple of folks in chat room (me and Pickers) and grew from there . Was folks in chat room who all know each other well who met up. ie folks who speak in or outside of room on phone / msn regularly some of whom had met before.

We discussed and decided not to put on main boards so sorry you peeved cos was pals getting together who hadn't seen each other in a while.

 I know ones on boards take a lot of time to set up - my better half and Gadget doing Scottish one. Ours was very informal.

However there will be another to which you are most welcome and we will put on boards when we have agreed date. If you are willing to help organise that would be great.
