Have you found the family on IGI? I have just got him and going back about 3 generations.
he was born in Ballantrae (down in the south of the county) although his wife was from newton.
Maybe he is buried in Ballantrae?
If you want these details give me your email address in a personal message and I'll send you what I find.

Hello Rev mother - could you see if there is anything for Andrew Hamilton in St Quivox.  He died 1841-45 and would have been in his 20s.  Thanks.

Hi
I've looked through all my lists, as they are adjoining parishes, but sorry, nothing for Andrew Hamilton.
Good hunting

Hi  could you please see if there's anything listed for James Saunders (or Sanders) who died 18 Dec 1860.  He was buried in Wallacetown Churchyard, I'm particularly interested to know if anyone was buried with him.

Thanks.

Hi
The only Sanders in Wallacetown cemetery inscription book says:
Erected by Jane Brown in memory of Hugh Sanders her husband late farmer in Content d 22 Mar 1870 aged 45; also of their son Hugh d 5 aug 1870 aged 19.
I can see that this is not directly what you were hoping for, but I hope it may help
