Hi all

Any chance of making World RootsChat Day an annual meet in each of our countries?  :-  Is this possible?

I have an ulterior motive of course   ;D ;D ;D

I'll be travelling to the UK and Ireland in 12 months-2 years and it would be lovely to know I could attend a meeting while there for the serious chatting of course but also for some serious socializing  ;D ;D ;D   getting to know my fellow chatters.

Anybody have any ideas on this?

Cheers Juddee

Perhaps someone could tell us who's who on the photo of the Dudley Meeting last November ??

Back left is Amy's friend Grant, then Sarah & Trystan, AmyK & Ticker.  Front row JillJ, Kazza & Marianne.   Fitty took the photo.

A fine-looking lot of Rootschatters in that photo, to be sure!  Nice to be able to put faces to some of the names I keep reading!

And as for Juddee's suggestion - I think it's a great idea!  I too hope to be revisiting the UK some time in the foreseeable future and would like to meet up with Rootschatters.  Of course, it could be just an informal meeting if I'm not there at the right time...

Hi All,

I've started a specific thread for the meet in York..

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,47511.0.html

I've stickied it right at the top.

We can discuss where we want to go as a visit etc and I'll "try" to organise!  If you saw the mound of assorted paper and scribblings on my desk you wouldn't trust me  ;D

But show me a brewery and I can guarantee a lack of sobriety...
