I would really like to join a ROOTSCHAT meeting,   isn't there ANYONE ELSE in Mallorca other than  'himself 'and 'lindy'   (thats the other half and me!)   who is a Rootschatter?

I would consider jetting it to the uk, but I have living rellies visiting in May, so will have to give the dead rellies meeting a miss this time around. :'(

It would be great for as many people as possible to meet up at the nearest points they can get to.

In my case it would be York but that should not stop you guys if you can not get to York Meeting up in London.

Then we call take some piccies and swap a few yarns about the days events ;D both here and with our pals over the water.

VOTE YORK !!  ;D ;D ;D

We do have a "World RootsChat Day" being organised by our Ozzie friends too - so we can co-incide it with that :)

When's World RC Day, then, Trystan?  Need to get it booked in me diary!

Happy Easter Rootschatters!!!!!!!!!
Im really excited that World Rootschat Day might just fly ;D-Sunday 8th May 2005.
The way I look at it is-
All our ancestors took life changing risks to travel the world to forge new lives for themselves and there families- Usually with a brave face ,and a prayer, with the hope of a new start, away from Famine ,disease and oppression.
Some were adventurers, with a reckless heart, dreaming of places ,they could only imagine.
SO- In our modern day, can we take a leap ,and for 1single day -come together!........cheers chrissy.

You mean, I might be able to pull the "It's my Mother's Day treat" card to get out for the day?

(8th May )
