I have noticed a birth of a Mary C A Foot with the mothers maiden name of Morgan in the Dec 1/4 of 1913- this was in the Ipswich district.

Is this the right family?

As yet I haven't seen their marriage though.

If it did take place in Newry- it wil not appear in the UK GRO indexes and you would need to either view it at the Dublin GRO or get the film across to your local LDS family search centre.

Fingers crossed it took place over here then!

Carol (still looking  ;))

Of course there's always the possibility that they never did marry.

My gt grandparents only did,in 1914, after having being together for 21 years and having ten chldren!

Maybe they always hoped to but with him being killed so young they just never got round to it?

Hope you find out the truth.

All the best

Carol

I have found the birth of Henry Lester Foot in the Wangford District of Suffolk in Oct-Nov-Dec quarter 1886, 4a 890 (Free BMD)

There is also someone researching this family listed on the Suffolk Surnames List web site.

There are 27 parishes within the Wangford Registration District - not particularly close to Eye.

Not sure if this helps  ???

Hi

The Henry Foot that SM has found could be the 14 year old one on the 1901 census born Redisham Suffolk (which is in the Wangford RD) now living in Burnham, Essex..a bakers assistant.

regards
Yokel
