Marriage Recorsd for Sileby 1766

Hello,

I have a Edward Goodacre and Sarah Morris marrying at Sileby on 21 Jan 1766

From this entry can I get the parents names? or any further details?

Any help would be gratefully received

Greeting's And Welcome Sarah.....

From my experiences due to the early date we are talking at looking at Parish Records
These only give Date & Bride & Groom's name along with the Vicar, and names of witness.
And if your lucky if the Parents were the witness then BINGO.....
I've just looked up a disk I have and can confirm the marriage :-

Edward Goodacre ~ Sarah Morris
21st. Jan. 1766.
Sileby.
By Banns.
In the notes the following was stated :-

Groom comes from Kempstone in the Country of Nottinghamshire.....

So you might get results if you were to post your message again on the Nottinghamshire section within this site ?
