Hello greyfox, my Robert Hawke married Mary Rickard. I gather Mary Ann Prynn married Thomas Finemore then when Thomas died Mary Ann Finemore married Robert Hawke. Have you any census of them. Do you know where Mary Ann Prynn was born and who was her parents .  Its complicated isn`t it ;D.  I will try and help if you can give me any more info.   Gladys.  :)

Hi Gladys,

If you check the link to greyfox's thread I provided, you will note that "banks" who has posted to this thread is researching the same family (see reply number 3 in this thread  ;)) Hazel is following Mary Ann's son Richard HAWKE from Mary Ann's second marriage to Robert HAWKE, (son Richard born 1833 Tywardreath) where greyfox is following son Frederick FINNAMORE from Mary Ann's first marriage to Thomas FINNAMORE.  ;D

A very complicated family but this is certainly a match. It appears that Hazel has not been online in 18 months. It would be lovely if she is still out there somewhere researching and the reactivation of this thread may bring her back to RootsChat and a new contact with greyfox. Wonder where she is with it some 2 years down the track.  :-\

We are very pleased to have solved the mystery of most the relationships, between the people involved here, as the 1841 census listed Finnamore's and Hawke's as part of the same household in Tywardreath and the relationship between these people was unknown. (Though the investigation remains ongoing in Devon.)  Very complicated indeed. ;D

Cheers Kris  :D
