As Jim said the dates don't math up with being a poor house unless you meant 1850s/60s- a mistake I am prone to often. In the case of the Govan Poorhouse (Southern General Hospital) there are no longer any case notes but only a brief record which does not give alot of information. At least this was the case for 1918 and the ancestor I was looking for.
