How interesting!

Do you have a James Harold George?  He finished his apprenticeship (as a fitter) in the Docks, I think in 1917?

It might have been later than that.

Cardiff, the J George leaving in 1923 may be him.  I am not at home, but will check his apprentice card in the next few days.

Many thanks

Hi
Gives reason for leaving -Left district
Where stationed- Shipping Dept Grade- looks like Pitwood worker not sure what that means, maybe someone out there knows what that job would have been?
Sadly not much info given on this Mr George. More info given on others - what their job was plus date birth , date of joining date of leaving also what they where paid and on some, date enlisting in forces (1ST WORLD WAR) Then gives  date of re-enlistment into the docks.
cheers cardiff :)

What a find eh?!  Thanks Dolly.
