HI, CAN ANYONE HELP ME??

MY GRANDMOTHER'S MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE IN 1946 STATES HER FATHER AS HENRY ELLERTON (DECEASED).

HER BIRTH CERTIFICATE GIVES NO MENTION OF FATHERS DETAILS BUT GIVES MOTHER AS LUCY ELLEN ELLERTON (FORMERLY MALONEY).

I HAVE FOUND LUCY'S BIRTH Q4 1895 IN BRADFORD AND A POSSIBLE BIRTH FOR HENRY Q4 1888 ALSO IN BRADFORD.

I AM STRUGGLING TO FIND DETAILS OF THEIR MARRIAGE AND ALSO HENRY'S DEATH.

ANY HELP OR ADVICE APPRECIATED.

It is difficult I expect you know he is on the 1901 census with parents  Henry /Sarah
Henry m Sarah SMITH Jun qtr 1886 Darlington 10a 51
on 1901 census they have William 13 Henry 12 Arthur 10 Sarah 4 and Fred 3
The gap is filled with Lily b Mar qtr 1893 died Sep qtr 1894 and Albert b June qtr 1895 died June qtr 1896 but I can find no sign of a m for Henry and Lucy

Should have said the children were Bradford Where was your gran born? Did they stay in the Bradford area?

My grandmother was born in Bradford and remained there until early 1990's when she moved to Mirfield to be nearer to my aunt.

When was your gran born?

do you know if she had any brothers or sister that were older than her?


Any answers you can give could help find a marriage for her parents - possible.
