There is a SpringMount in Ovens that belongs to my grandmother's family.  I think the original owner/tenant of which I am aware is Sir E.J. Walshe, there were others including a Walsh (without the "e") and it is currently owned by the descendants of Walsh, now the Carroll family.  It is a large home on a parcel of a little over 100 acres.  Nobody lives there at this time, but the land as far as I know is leased out and the home used for retreats.  I was told the Carrolls are also descendants of Sir Walshe (with the "e").  but am missing links back to him directly.  I have no information about Rawlins, but let you know if I come up with anything.  Would the picture have any other writing or names?

Linda

Thanks Sybil. Looks like per the Valuation Office information the Edmund Walsh took over from the Rawlins around 1882. I'm not aware of any family connection but this was soon after George Rawlins death.
