After 1901???
« on: Monday 26 March 07 09:25 BST (UK) »
Hello all,

Somewhat a newbie to this and definitely a newbie to rootschat and I'm looking for some help.
All other branches of the tree have been fine - done as far as interest holds me (well apart from some details but .....) - all but one....
Only definite details I have are after 1901 and thus after the census... I am at a complete block and since I am on the other side of the world to looking at anything other than what's on the internet, I am hoping that you lovely people will give me more ideas of where to find this branch of the family. All census records have found me nothing that I can confirm so far....
Please Help!

My information in case someone else can help :
Charles Frederick WILLIAMS born October 1906

father (possibly) another Charles WILLIAMS married to a Harriet BRAIN (am told was a 'barge person')

siblings Phyllis and Patricia.

From Dudley / Dudley Port West Midlands.

I cannot find these people anywhere and would appreciate any advice.
Thanks
Baker Middlesex,
Everett, Wilkins Lanham Sussex
Williams, Waterhouse West Midlands

THe full birth indexes (and marriage and death) are available online at
http://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/rectype/vital/freebmd/bmd.aspx

I have found Charles Fredericks birth:

Oct/Nov/Dec 1906

W Bromwich ref 6b 807

Sending for his birth cert would confirm his fathers name, mothers name and her maiden name.

You can then use the indexes to search for the marriage. With Williams being a common name, i would search for the wife ! A marriage cert would then give both their father's names, and their adressses at marriage
Hopefully then you may have enough information to find them on the 1901 census.
