Henry Parker? DUC(K)ETT bc1857 Portsmouth Hants
Georgianna wife bc1860 City London
Henry son bc1881 Kensington London

Possibly in London somewhere ................... maybe even South London ie. Newington/Southwark/Lambeth :-\

Many thanks

Do you know what young Henry's profession was later in life?  Is this a possible for him in 1901?

Hi Phrishy

I'm afraid I have no idea what became of young Henry - I only have him in the 1881 census.

By 1901 Georgianna DUCKETT was housekeeper (quite possibly a bit more than a house keeper ;) ) to Fred. ALLEN in Newington RG13/383 folio 54 page 37

Hi Casalguidi

If he's there somewhere in 1891 , he's hiding good, isn't he !!

Considering, that Henry Parker DUC(K)ET(T) etc, is also a bit of a mystery in the earlier Census, together with very likely looking one in 1901 phrishey found for the son.......

I'm wondering if the family had a strong Army/Services background and that Henry Parker D.  may have actually been born in Scotland..... this is after finding this below:

Mother and Aunt  born Portsmouth? Sister Maud?
1871:  Hackney, Homerton, London
Ref:  RG10- Piece 327- Folio 116- Pg136
Address; 15 Crozier Terrace
Head: Elizabeth WEBB 30, marr, Actress, b Portsmouth Hampshire
Son: Edmund BRIDGE 9,  b Homerton, Middlsex
Son: Robert D WEBB 2, b Homerton, Middlsex
Sister: M DUCKETT 34,. marr, Oilmans Wife, b Portsmouth Hamsphire
Nephew: Henry P DUCKETT 13, Scholar, b Ayreshire Scotland
Niece: Maud Mary DUCKETT 1, b Brampton,? Middlesex

Is this his sister Maud
1881: Ealing Middlesex
Ref:  RG11/ Piece: 1345- Folio 41- Pg19
Address: 11 Kent Gardens
Head: Emily DUCAT 73, wid, b London
Dau: Jessie C DUCAT 45, unm, Poona? Bombay ----------?
Grand-Dau: Maud DUCAT 13,  Scholar, b Not Known
Grand-Dau: Eithel M  DUCAT 10, Scholar, b Banfield Berkshire
Grand-Dau: Amy DUCAT 7, b Pyrton? Oxfordshire
Grand-Dau: Eva DUCAT 2,  b Andover
Servant: Sophia BALES 34, unm, Domestoc, b Watford Herts
Servant: Caroline WILLIAMS 30, unm, Domestic, b Chesham, Worsc.
Servant: Elizabeth KEMPSTER 17, unm,  b Watford, Herts
Servant: Annie BALEAN 15, unm, Domestic, b Ringwood Hampshire
Son: Albert R? (M? N?)  DUCAT 35, unm,  Commander, Royal Navy. b St Lawrence Jersey
Grandson: Gerald DUCAT 5,  b Bombay

What do you think - perhaps running with these for a bit may lead to finding where they could be  in 1891?

Cheers

Thanks Ambly - I would think that very likely to be Henry P DUCKETT too :)

I had a hunch that they were going to prove pretty difficult ::)

Thanks again
