Help Please - Trott, Donyatts

Hi

I am new to the forum and I hope someone can help me.  I am tracing my Husband's family history and have some to a bit of a brick wall.  I am looking for information on:

Issac Trot, Born 1837, Donyatts, Somerset, Died 1908 Portsmouth. 

I believe he had six children, any more information, particularly surrounding his parents etc would be fabulous.

Welcome to RootsChat, 

Here is Isaac presumably with his family in 1841. The entry is very faded but this is what I think I can see. Unfortunately 1841 census does not yield a lot of information and unfortunately relationships are not listed. Adult ages tend to be rounded down also so I would bear in mind that given the ages of Samuel and Hannah the younger children listed here are possibly grandchildren. I will try 1851 again. I did find Isaac before I finally found this entry but he is a servant not listed with family by that time. I cant really read most of the entries where they list Y (Yes born in County) or N (Not born in County) Samuel the head is a Y

Thank you for that, so of this I had as I have had a look at the census, but some I haven't.

Gilbert who suddenly appears in 1891 is I think Samuel.  The Trott Family (and my Father in Law is no different)  seem to have a tendancy to swop between middle and first names!

I am also particularly interested in Sabina Hannah Trott (who like them all) is sometimes known as Hannah sometimes Sabina.  She had four children, although one of which was very young when she died (poss weeks or months).
