I had an email today to say the site was now back up and running.  My credits have expired too!

Hiya Wardonia,

I'm sure if you contact them you should be allowed your credits.

I've just had an email from them too, though I haven't had any credits there for a long time.

You guys seem to be saying that it's probably not worthwhile joining.  Is that right?  Please let me know what you think.  It's good to know if it is going to be worthwhile before you part with any of your hard-earned!  8)

They have credited my account with my "expired" credits now. so I shall have a look later   :)
I did think it worthwhile before, very useful for the period 1865 ((or was it 66?) to 1920

Yes, between 1866 and 1920, individuals can be isolated, especially if you know the district. Saves hunting through numerous pages in other sites!

They sent me an e-mail saying that there will soon be a county option on the search page. I had queried the missing map facility, which I used a great deal, but they said was underused!

After e-mailing them, they reinstated my units.  This is a good site for 1911-1920 BMD's.  I usually buy a number of units but the £37.50 a year subscription looks tempting.

Thanks for that, folks!  I did look at the yearly sub and wonder.  Trouble is, I haven't got too many more people to find post 1837 (though a couple of really, really significant ones!) so am wondering to myself whether it would be worth it.

Hi,
I have just registered on familyrelatives to use one of the free indices, but It fails to display the image. The test image works and I have followed all the help ideas, and tried it on another machine.
Does anyone else have this problem - I have emailed them but had no reply.

Cheers,
   Dave

Hi Dave

Glad I'm not the only one!

Just signed up and spent the last hour or so pulling my hair out trying to get an image, ANY image, to show, but still no joy.

I've changed every setting and even turned off my firewall and still nothing. So frustrating!

All I wanted was the free Overseas indexes, and I can't even get them

Grrrr..........

A very, very frustrated Glen  ??? >:( :-\ :'(
