ann smith ritchir birth look up!

Hi all, I was hoping that some kind person could possibly take a look to see if they can find the birth of Ann Smith Ritchie, my great grandmother, all i know is she was born in 1908 died 14th jan 1985 Brechin, and married Arthur  Arburthnot Bell (born aug 7th 1904 brechin)  I just cant seem to find her and id like to order her birth certificate to give me her parents details.
Any help would really be appreciated - need a kick start to help me on my way to this side of the family!

Sadly, your ggrandmother's birth is outside of the on-line records for Scotlands People (1906). Given you have precise details for her, you can order the cert. direct from the GROS. See this link here on RootsChat:

Added: I've just checked for marriages (which would also give you her parents' names, as would her death cert.). However, this looks to also have taken place after 1931 which is the cut off year for on-line marriage certs. images on SP.

Thankyou monica for taking the time to look it up for me,  I wasnt sure if i could order the birth certificate as i wasnt sure where she was born - area wise.  But many thanks all the same.

As you are certain on her death date, maybe this is the one to order? The links I posted earlier also explain what searches can be carried out by the GROS. They are very helpful, I would contact them in any event and see what be done re her birth entry.
