1841 Census lookup-SAVIDGE

I would appreciate the details on the 1841 census for SARAH SAVIDGE about 20-24 and born in Hinton Somerset. Registration district could be CHARD or HONITON.

Just received a certificate for this lady and after two hours I think I have deciphered the surname correctly.

Nathan Savidge 49 Butcher ( could be batcher) difficult to make out.

It reads all born in the county except Sarah.

Thanks for checking, but I do not think this is the family.
The only solid evidence I have regarding Sarah and a daughter is the 1851 census, when they were living in Kensington and their birthplace shows Hinton Somerset.
I tried to do a cross check on the BMD for a marriage but that didn't pan out either. Oh well, now I go into my maybe this or maybe that mode!

  This was the only  match I could find.  It does say on the index page that she was born in Somerset even though the actual census says not.

Can you post the ref for the 51 census or her married name please.

Just a guess but the occupation of Nanthan in your previous reply could be Thatcher.

Think this her,  details are from the index page as the ink on the image page  has virtually disappeared making it unreadable to the naked eye. Most of these fit with the 1851 reference you supplied.

A perfect match on the 41  for brother and sister Wm and Sarah.

Hi I did a google of Savidge in Somerset and came upon your conversation so I have joined Rootschat. This is my 1st post .I have these Savidges in my tree so was interested in your certificate and any info you have.My great great grandfather was Alfred Savidge chr. 1837 in Ilminster(born Seavington St Mary but living in Hinton St George in 1841 census) His father was Benjamin chr . 1793 H st G who was a brother to the William referred to c 1795 ish in Ilminster(may be born in H St G)He married Elizabeth White (she died prwe 1841)and had Walter 1829(not Walker) Sarah 1833 and William 1835.Anything you can tell me would be appreciated. Are we related?
