Hi dlongmore,
who said;
I found Henry her sons birth/christening (19 Jan 1814 in Bridgnorth)
In my collection of Bridgnorth records, I have;
The marriage at St. Mary's Church on 16 Jan 1844;
Henry LONGMORE, full age, single, Carpet weaver. No father given.
to
Jane HALL, full age, widow, dau of Richard BOLTON, occ'n .. Cooper.
Both of Bernard's Hill, Bridgnorth.
Henry LONGMORE, Weaver of Underhill St, was made a Freeman of Bridgnorth on 26 July 1838. App'd to William HALL and to Thomas Ross SOUTHWELL.
Many LONGMORE's from in and around the Bridgnorth District, including Alveley, were Freemen.
Henry LONGMORE, age 57, Landlord of The Red Lion Inn, Underhill Street, died approx. w/e 20 June 1863. However, I note this Henry is not 'yours' but probably the one born in Chelmarsh.
Hope it helps,
Gwynne
