Zander,

If you find this Glenvarlock Street Robert Brennan is yours, let me know as I have a lot of information on the Brennans of this part of the Castlereagh Road/Beersbridge Road. Their ancestors were Co Antrim but not as far north as Dervock- Whitehead, Ballycarry, Islandmagee so this may be a coincidence.

Good luck,

Platespinner

These names do indeed come up:
James b. 1919
Elizabeth b. 1912
George b. 1921

These are clearly not the same three people as yours but they might well be cousins. Their father was James Brennan married to Annie (U)pritchard from Aghalee Co. Antrim, not far from lisburn so this is another similarity. Are you on Genes Reunited? if you are, I'll open my tree there and you can have a look for more info.
Have you checked out linen mills in Dervock? I know my Brennans moved to Belfast from Whitehead or Carrickfergus because of a move from one mill to another in Mashona Street (now gone but perpendicular to Lecumphre Street and Woodlee Street).
