Hello Valbeth, If your g.grandfather was buried in Kirkinriola perhaps it was a family tradition. However, not everyone could afford a headstone so Janet Ritchie might be there without a headstone and then it would be a case of finding where the records were kept. None of my family had headstones in Ballyclug. I see there are four headstones for Ritchie in 1st Broughshane Presbyterian, If you go to 'History from Headstones' you will find them and can view them for £4. As for baptisms, that would depend on the religious persuasion of your family. It has taken me years to find my g.grandmother's baptism and then I discovered that the whole family were pabtised together in Ballymena C of I, the eldest being 8 years old. So it's a case of looking at marriages, what church they were in, and working your way through all the Ballymena churches. Keep asking the questions. Someone is aways happy to help. It looks as if Caughterty is now spelt Caherty and is quite close to 1st Broughshane Presbyterian Church. Worth a thought. RosemaryJoan
