1901 RG13; Piece: 3429; Folio: 124; Page: 51.

Parents William and Mary - the youngest child is only 10 months old and the oldest is 17 yrs- I have not written them yet because it does seem so unlikely.
Do you know the exact years of birth of Albert Edward and Donald William? There are a few Donalds around that time (some not with a William though) and the same with Alberts.
There is only one Edith Muriel though so a certificate will be easy enough.

I appreciate this enormously.

Albert Edward was registered in Toxteth Park in March 1897
Donald William was registered in toxteth park in Dec 1901

then Edith Muriel was registered in
toxteth park in Dec 1908   her birthday was September 1908.

the family certainly lived in the area but I am not very sure of my locations as I do not know Liverpool very well..........
On the canals...Turton, Wood, Mann,Cartwright, Neale, Grainger, Littlemore, Taylor. etc
Black country ancestors.... Beesley, Tranter, Fellows Barker, Perry, Evans, Glover.
also researching Birtwisle and Darby.

sorry I am repeating myself here- are you certain then from family info perhaps that her brothers were as you said.
What I mean is that, if this information is definite-  from the family-  then surely if there were other children then you would know that too.
Or, I was wondering if you knew she had at least these two brothers, and had looked the names up on the BMD and then assumed that those ages were right.
Apologies for the seeming inquisition but am really trying to help!!

 Hello
Thankyou for replying to me..I had gone away to  regroup my ideas!

from what I can gather there were only 3 children in the family.. That might be totally wrong of course! but working on that I assume that Albert Edward is the one on the census with his parents,,,,,,,,  the other 2 children come after the census night .............
So I am looking for an Albert Edward aged about 3 years or 4 years  living in a family in the Toxteth, Sefton park area of liverpool in 1901.

Have also been in touch with Liverpoool Register office and asked for Birth certificates of Edith and Albert..............  so I
am hopeful to crack this  one way or another!!

 Regards Mrs Noah

Hi again,

well there is only one 3 yr old Albert Stewart (no Edward) in 1901 that I can see in Toxteth Park and he is the one with lots of siblings which you would have thought would have been known to you - there are so many!

Please post when you receive Edith's certificate so that we can look up/ find out who her parents were.

best wishes
heywood

 Brilliant.

 Thankyou...........

I was thrilled that the census that you had sent was the right one, just shows that what you are told is sometimes not quite the truth!!!!

Of course finding that census has now made me ask a lot of questions!!!!

The marriage will open even more doors.

will keep you posted ...

Thanks again
