Hi All,
I am looking for Robert & Maria Hallam in 1841. I have them in 1851 & 1861 as follows:
1851 Census(I): HO107/2069-22 Rugby, WAR
9 Chapel St., Robert Hallam, head, 33, fishmonger, Lutterworth, Leics
9 Chapel St., Maria Hallam, wife, 27, Rotherhithe, London
1861 Census(I): RG9/2154-?? Birmingham
113 ?, Robert Hallam, head, mar, 43, fishmonger, Lutterworth, Leics
113 ?, Maria Hallam, wife, mar, 38, London
They married in 1840 in Surrey as follows:
10 May 1840. Robert Hallam (22, bachelor, grocer, resident at Mary Street) married Maria Woodbine (minor, spinster, resident at Mary Street) by banns. Fathers: John Hallam (steward) & John Woodbine (cooper). Place of marriage: Parish Church, Parish of St. George the Martyr Southwark. Curate: AJ Rogers. Witnesses: John Woodbine, Emma Woodbine
I suspect that in 1841 they were still living in Surrey - possibly in Rotherhithe.
I wonder whether anyone is able to find them? If you are also able to provide an image that would be wonderful - if not, then I'd still be very grateful for the details and reference no's.
Many thanks for reading this!
Kind regards,
William
