The IGI Individual Record says she was born in Queensland, however no-one could find her birth.

Woodbridge Caroline Mary married James Prowd in Victoria (? dosnt say where) in 1876 reg no. 3838

I know you said you have closed your other thread, but as you may know, I love a burial and so must pass this on...perhaps you already know.....

A man named.....
Albert Nicholas Prowd was buried in 1945 at age 64
with him
Sarah K Prowd buried 1951 aged 76.

Was she a Denner?

The NSW BDM Registry www.bdm.nsw.gov.au lists a birth for Caroline WOODBRIDGE in 1860 Registered at Gundagai No. 7510/1860
Father: Robert W
Mother: Emma E

You can order the certificate on line from the Registry or a cheaper option is to use a transcription agent www.transcriptions.com.au where it will only cost $A15 or you can get certain parts checked first & upgrade if correct.

An IGI entry gives an 1860 birth in New South Wales, with parents that match Helen's post.   It appears she married a John Buckett.

now  check  the  First Families site  there is a William prowd  who died in  Boonie Doone(don't think I  have spelt that right)

there may be still a valid email address there for  someone  who  had  posted it for all the  work another  chap had done on the family tree

Dear Sue, You made me laugh out loud re couldn't resist a burial, then when I went to the Fawkner website and had a little looksee I nearly had a heart attack because I found lots of my DENNERs and PROWDs there, including new families I have been researching, CARRUTHERS - 2 screenfulls of data.  My gosh.

And Sarah K that married the PROWD fellow was indeed a DENNER, she was the granddaughter of my ancestors, James William DENNER and Mary Ann PINE.

Dear Helen and Christine, Hi ladies.  I did think to check the NSW bdms for Caroline WOODBRIDGE but I think she is another one and they have different middle names.  I base this on familysearch search as well.  I think from memory they had a record of a Caroline E. WOODBRIDGE.  Although familysearch is an excellent tool, some of the info is not all that correct, so I might hang onto the idea that it is her until I find out more later on.  Thanks Helen for Transcription website, didn't know about that one.  Only Joy Murrin.

Hi there Jenn, Nice to hear from you again, yes all is well.  {Having fun with water restrictions Level 5, plus good news ... my son that has Autism is learning sign language!}

You know I thought about the First Families site but I didn't have enough information on the PROWDs till recently.  My James & Mary DENNER are there.  Goodness I didn't think there would be that information there that the couple William PROWD and Mary DOOLAN were both from Ireland.  IGI says he was born England.  Luckily I didn't waste rootschatters precious time getting an 1841 census lookup done for England.   I know how hard you all work to keep us all happy. 

I shall write to the Wendy Price lady via first families.  I shall cross my fingers that she has kept her same email addy.

A BIG thanks to all of you lovely ladies.  Family Tree is starting to get a bit fatter now with all this info.  A great ending to my 'genie' day.
