How interesting! We had the Shebbear, Devon connection too, although we had him born a little earlier (1834ish) and his wife down as Elizabeth (Betsy???) and his mother as Rebecca (although that could also be Betsy I suppose - we don't know much about her at all, so Rebecca could even be wrong).
I'm sure we are talking about the same George - certainly the Arthur Leonard name similarities would be an odd coincidence. I'll go back and verify the information I had with my Mother, who did most of the up front research.
Unfortunately, my Grandfather (Leonard Arthur Mills) died before I was born. However, longevity is clearly in the family as his sisters (Gwen and Eileen) lived well into their 90s and his brother is still alive apparently, but we aren't in contact with him (they were close as boys, but had a falling out in later years apparently - he now lives in Dubai I think).
Leonard died from a heart condition that he picked up at sea during WW2. So there aren't really any more living relatives that we can go to. Leonard's wife (my Gran) is still alive, but we've already milked her of her Mills family knowledge.
