Looking for any info on alexander mccash that left scotland on a ship called pomona in 1876 with his sister ann. he later married Jesse Taylor. ann was born in perth, scottland so im gessing thats where they wer from. Ann Malcolm McCash born 30th of December 1849, christened 6th January 1850.

I just want to clarify - are you saying Ann Malcom McCASH b 1849 (parents are William McCASH and Isabella MALCOLM per IGI ) is certainly your Ann, sister of Alexander or do you just imagine she may be?

Do you have an approx YOB  for Alexander?

I can see the family of the Ann Malcolm McCash b. 1849 in both the 1851 and 1861 Census...no sign of an Alexander, brother, in the household  :-\

Do you have any further details from Alexander's marriage or death certs which would help identify the right family?

      I found the marriage of Ann Malcolm McCash to James Galloway July51872.This was three years before she left for New Zealand. As you already know William and Isabella(Malcolm)McCash were her parents.
     Is it possible to find their death certificates from the place they lived in Inergargill New Zealand.      : Regards: Margaret   :)
