Hi

The Norfolk marriage index shows

Peter Hall married Mary Frier on 11 Oct 1820 at Brisley (which is the adjacent village to Horningtoft)

regards

I also have been trying to trace the family history of my grandfather Archibald HALL who was born Maitland West Maitland NSW. His age was shown as 30 yrs in Apr 1891.  He married Elizabeth BOLTON at Georgetown QLD in 1891.  In the marriage certificate Archie's father is shown as John HALL, a farmer and his mother was recorded as Mary TIERNEY. Archibald (Archie) remained in Queensland and lived at Golden Gate and Croydon during the gold mining period.  He died in Ipswich Qld in 1934.  I have been unable to  connect him to this HALL family to date but cannot definitely rule this out.  I know there is another Archibald HALL born in the Patricks Plains/Maitland area 1862 whose father likewise was named John HALL.

I was also told Archie had an uncle named Philip from NSW who visited Croydon Qld in the circus about 1902.

Hi jh44

Lacharna/Brodie1 hasn't been online here since March 2007 but as long as their email address hasn't changed, should receive a notification that you have posted and hopefully come back soon.

If they don't reply, you could try sending a personal message.
