R.A.F. service record
« on: Sunday 04 March 07 16:21 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone help. I'm trying to find out service details (on line if possible) of my Grandfather :- Charle Robert Draper. His marriage certificate states that at the time of his marriage he was resident at "Fort Grange" Gosport and he was a private in the RAF. His number was 333051. Anyone got any ideas how to find out more ?

It depends when he was in the RAF, but looking at the service number I'm guessing it was after 1920's so you will need to apply to Innsworth.

You will be charged for the records (£25-30 if I remember correctly). Personally I found it to be money well spent - I have my Dad's records - a real treasure in my collection.
