Beighton Boyds Marriage Index Lookup or any help please?

Hi All,

My G.G.G.G Grandfather Robert Jackson of Hooton Roberts, Yorkshire married a Mary ? of Beighton, Derbyshire/Yorkshire in around 1807 in Beighton, there marriage is not on the I.G.I as the Beighton records in the index start at 1813. If someone has access to the Boyd's Marriage Index or Beighton marriage records I would be very grateful if you could help me.

Hi Peter

There is an entry for a marriage of Robert Jackson (on the IGI)  to Mary Crossley, 24 NOV 1806   Laughton En Le Morthen, Yorkshire (which is about 5 miles from Beighton) Could this not be the one you are looking for?

Hi Jan,

It could possibly be, I just assumed though with it saying Robert Jackson m. Mary ? in Beighton, Derbyshire 1807 on the I.G.I but not giving anymore details that the marriage was in Beighton?? and as I found out Beighton isn't covered by the I.G.I until 1813 so entries beforehand must have been made by the LDS members. I shall look into the info you have given me.
