Hi Suz,

Thank you very much for the information.  Though I found it a bit strange seeing David Fisher and family on the same census record.

I have David and family living in West Bromwich in 1851.  I have a copy of the orginal census page.  I got it off the net the reference was only given as HO 107/2025.

Both families are the right ones as the information is the same apart from David's job which I have as a Forgeman.

Is it possible for them to be put down twice in different area.

Thanks agaim for the info.

Regards Jacquie.

1851
West bromwich
Dartmouth St
David Fisher Head 29 Forgeman Staffs Wednesbury
Jemima 24 Forgeman's wife
Ann M 5 Scholar (at Home)
William  3 Scholar (at home)
Samuel E 10 mths

all except David b. brierley Hill
HO107 2025 331 5

checked the "other one" and relation ship of David and family is given as Son in law etc
Probably (with them being entered below Richard Smith "visitor) they were visitors also.
It is possible for them to be entered twice -In my tree I have two entred twice -one was a farmer and he is entered on his own farm and then entered on his sons farm (some  10 miles apart)
the other is entered in Derbyshire and in Staffordshire -he was in the process of moving to work in another colliery
So it does happen!!!

If you would like me to send the image PM me your address

Hi Suz,

Thank you very much.  I thought it was a bit coincidental there being two David Fisher's who married a Jemima and their children also had the same names.

I rechecked the 1851 census on the 1901 census web site and the family is listed in Staffordshire and Worcestershire.  Unfortunately I don't have credit so I can not bring up the original page.   The original that I have from West Bromwich I got from another site.

Thank you again for looking them up for me.

Regards Jacquie.
