Nothing even remotely like Meinecke in the family I know about (so far). Jacob's wife's maiden name was Schimff or Schimpp, so another German connection (though she was apparently born in London). Maybe if I get further back? Thanks for the comment anyway, it would have been a useful coincidence if they had been the same family...
