Hello
I am trying to track down the family of Jacob Kisler who appears to have moved around a lot (mostly London). I have the family in Ipswich in 1871, but their daughter Margaret was born in Whitechapel in c1860. I also have information on Kislers (presumably this family) running two pubs around this time - "Prince of Orange", Fieldgate street, Whitechapel and the "White Hart", Leman Street, Goodman's Fields. However, their next daughter appears to have been born in Stratford, Essex in c.1863.
The family are as follows, (with their supposed ages in 1861):
Jacob 26, wife Mary 22, children (Elizabeth died 1859 aged 18months), Margaret newborn.
By family repute, Jacob's widowed mother, Elizabeth Ann Kisler should also have been alive at this time, and aged 60 ish.
I'm assuming that the 1861 census might answer some questions, but any other information or advice gratefully accepted.
Thanks in advance
Liz
