St Thomas, Portsmouth - KELLOCK
« on: Sunday 18 February 07 14:44 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to find the marriage of Adam KELLOCK to Ann(e) on 27 February 1827 possibly at St Thomas, Portsmouth.

Can anyone please help?

Thank you.

Hi Yvonne,

Where did you get the information from?  Puzzled, because I can't see anything like these names around that date.  I can't find anyone by the name of Kellock at all.  ???

Nell

Modified: I've found their daughters' baptisms, but no marriage.

Was he Adam Dickinson Kellock?  Commander who sailed with the P&O Navigation Company, died around 1862?

Hi Nell,

I know that Adam Kellock married Ann on 27 Feb 1827 from his R A Service Records.  I originally thought they may have married in Woolwich but I haven't found any record there.  So, as two of their daughters were baptised at St Thomas, I thought I'd give that a go.

This is definitely not the Adam Kellock you mentioned, as mine died in 1847 on Corfu.

Thanks anyway.  He's a very elusive chap this one!
