Hi Kesannah,
I'm afraid I can't find any Nicholases. The only reference I have of the Hide family, Hurst is as follows:

The Hide family had strong royal connections and were a prolific family in Berkshire in the 16th and 17th centuries. When William Hide died in 1624 he was in possession of a house at Hinton Hatch. Situated there today is the 16th century house, Hinton House. It was recorded in 1620 that Thomas Hide of Hurst was the second son of William Hide of Dechworth. Thomas married Elizabeth, the daughter of John Barker of Wokingham.

If any more info comes up I'll advise. Have you tried the Bershire Family History Society?

 Hi,
    i originaly come from embrook a place between Wokingham and Reading,near Hurst,i did work there for a while and so did my sister,her husband came from Hurst and they married at Reading Registry office,added to this,my first job when leaveing school in 1965 was at Heelas of Wokingham in the toy department.
as far as i know all the records come under Reading.
