On the Am Baile site there is a lovely photo of the Castle & garden terraces - just what I was looking for. Thanks too for your kind offer to scan Pevsner for me - now I know its there, I'll obtain a copy through the library myself

OK, I have a copy here if you can't find one.
Am Baile is a very good site to check, they have lots of documents scanned and online. The pictures are in the SMR section. There is supposed to be a new version coming, linked to maps I think, but not see it yet.
